THE ROLE

As an Accountancy Practice Client Manager, you will manage your own portfolio of clients, supporting them with a wide range of accounting and tax matters. This pivotal position offers strong progression prospects and the chance to play a key role in mentoring junior team members and strengthening client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage your own portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact and providing day-to-day support.
• Deliver technical advice and guidance across accounting and taxation issues, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
• Review accounts and tax returns prepared by junior staff to maintain accuracy and quality.
• Mentor and support junior team members, helping them develop their professional skills.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client services through business development, cross-selling, and advisory work.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues on tax planning and advisory projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• ACA, ACCA, or AAT qualified (or equivalent).
• Prior experience working within an accountancy practice is essential.
• Strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation, tax compliance, and advisory services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with accounting software and digital tools.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Commercial awareness and sound business understanding.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues.
