THE COMPANY
A local services business in the Penkridge area are looking for a Purchase Ledger Controller on a temporary to permanent basis.
THE ROLE
You will be reporting to the Company Accountant in a small team of staff. Working purely on the purchase ledger and sub-contract ledger. Processing invoices and matching invoices on a daily basis. Supplier statement reconciliation, dealing with supplier queries and payment of invoices. Responsible for working the CIS scheme including tax. General administrative duties are also included along with covering in other departments at busy times.
REQUIREMENTS
You will have at least three years experience in a purchase ledger role. Have a good working knowledge of CIS tax with an understanding of the upcoming DRC. Excellent oral and written communication skills, good organisational and administration skills and attention to detail. You will have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines and proven problem-solving and analytical skills. You will also have experience of MS packages including excel.
COMPANY BENEFITS
The company offer excellent working conditions and onsite parking. Working hours are 8.00am – 5.00pm or 8.30am – 5.00pm 37.5 hours per week or 40 hours per week. Commencing working remotely 2 days per week and then 3 days in the offices in Penkridge.
