Our client, an established Lichfield based business, require a Payroll Specialist for a Permanent contract. It is essential you have relevant experience in a similar role and ideally within a service sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to add real value to the business and work as part of the team.
You will have a good understanding of the payroll function with at least 3 years plus experience. Knowledge of Sage and Excel essential with the ability to work on own initiative. You will be a confidential person with a good eye for detail and quick processing skills.
The role reports to the Company Secretary which is working in a small and busy team. You will be responsible for processing of a four-weekly payroll on Sage. You will input hours for over 600 staff, work out attachment of earnings and check hours on a weekly basis. You will deal with auto enrolment of pensions, any pay related queries and deal with new contracts and leavers. This is a stand-alone role in a friendly environment.
The company offer excellent working conditions with onsite parking. Working 37 hrs per week, hours are Monday to Thursday 9.00am – 5.00pm. Salary is up to £28,000, and the role is 100% office based. You will pick up the system and procedures quickly and need little supervision.
