THE COMPANY

Our client, an established business based in Lichfield require an experienced Transport & Logistics Administrator for a temporary contract. You will be available to start asap, and the role will run until September.

The company offer excellent working conditions and onsite parking. Working hours are 7.30am – 7.30pm 4 days on 4 days off, or Monday to Friday cover at lesser hours.

REQUIREMENTS

Ideal experience would be 3 years knowledge of transport and logistics operations, analytical thinker along with good problem-solving skills. Experience with ERP and Excel systems and an understanding of the current vehicle legislation. You will be an excellent communicator, approachable and the ability to work within a team.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Operations Manager your role will be to cover the administration of both the logistics and transport team. You will accurately input data of fleet costings, booking and maintain vehicle PMI’s, collate and manage driver infringement records and filing of all vehicles related paperwork. You will also deal with outside driving agencies regarding bookings, payments and raising VO’s and liaising with contractors regarding repair and damage to vehicles. Print orders, pallet headers and label to give to dispatch team. Issue and manage movement of scanners and prepare paperwork, deal with all incoming emails, checking of stock and inputting of hours along with booking in of stock and returned goods.
