Our client, an established equipment rental business based in Oldbury require a Stock Analyst on a permanent basis.

REQUIREMENTS

You must be PC literate and confident using various systems, be experienced and knowledgeable using Excel spreadsheet (intermediate/advanced level desirable) Attention to detail and strong organisational and communication skills with personnel at all levels. Must be flexible with occasional travelling to visit various branches. Previous stock management or knowledge of the Connect IT Hire & Sale system would be an advantage.

THE ROLE

Working in a small, busy team you will be reporting to the Senior Management/Financial Accountant. Main duties include the production of the Monthly Sales Price List, management of the company Repair Stocks including enquiry to branch of repair stock levels and arranging transfers and paperwork to external repairers. Daily analysis of Stock gains/losses including enquiry to the branches of reasons, plus various Ad-hoc daily reports on sales/hire of core company stock items. ABC Stock Analysis on a monthly basis.

Working hours are 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch. 25 days annual leave (Xmas closedown takes approx. 4 of these) + standard Bank Holidays. Pension scheme and life cover. Salary is £23,000 – £25,500 depending on experience.
