We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager with extensive experience using HR and Payroll cloud-based systems including iTrent and Access Select. The role is working for a client on a permanent basis in Wednesbury near the M6 motorway. The role is to start ASAP. Our client are renowned for providing a varied source of materials exclusively to the stockholding industry spanning aluminium, stainless steel, copper and brass.
Ideal experience would be knowledge of payroll system integration- iTrent and Access Select and a good standard of excel. Leading and motivating a team of staff. Thorough understand of at the payroll process from start to finish including manual calculations. Month and year end experience. GCSE’s including Maths and English, ideally an accounts or payroll qualification. The recruitment process will include aptitude/ability and personality tests. 2 interviews and a day of on the job testing.
The Company has a current staffing level of over 2000 employee across three payrolls, and is based in Wednesbury, West Midlands. The client is currently migrating to a cloud-based payroll system and requires a confident payroll professional to support the transition and manage a small team of administrators. You will be responsible for overseeing the payroll input and calculations of 3 monthly payrolls and responsible for motivating, coaching and supervising of 3 staff. Create and maintain reports as required and liaise with staff and management and respond to payroll related queries and month end consolidation. Develop improved systems and reporting methods for the department through application of continuous improvement techniques and assist in migrating to a cloud-based payroll system.
